City of Bath Rhythmic Gymnastics Club Medal Winners at the Rose Cup & Awarded Athletics Sports Grant

City of Bath Rhythmic gymnasts were out in force at the Rose Cup in Northampton this weekend. The Espoir Group Red performed a sparkling routine against some tough competition winning the silver medal.

In the individual competition Rebecca, Rosa, Elle Elisabeth, Kashvi, Vanessa and Sarah gave impressive performances, once again demonstrating the strength of the Club. Two double medallists from Bath with Kashvi winning an impressive silver medal in ball and clubs, and Vanessa a bronze in ribbon and ball. Elisabeth won silver in ball with Sarah taking a gold in the level 4 senior division in her 15thyear at the club.



Elsewhere, the Junior White team were recognised for their achievements to date when they were awarded Athlete Sport Grants from GLL Sports Foundation. At the Awards Evening Stephanie Millward spoke of achieving anything if you put your mind to it, an inspiring message for the gymnasts. Head coach, Sarah Moon said, “This is an amazing achievement for the girls and is testament to the hard work they have put into their gymnastics over the past year.”
