Evina Karamanli

Evina Karamanli started ballet
at the age of 4.
She trained as an artistic gymnast before following her passion for Rhythmic Gymnastics in 2004.
Evina has been a rhythmic gymnastics coach since 2016, both in Greece and in England. In 2022, she represented GBR at the Level 2 FIG Academy that took place in Centurion, South Africa and became an elite international coach – one among the other five that have represented GBR and the only Greek rhythmic gymnastics coach to ever complete a Level 2 RG Academy.

Sarah was a founder member of City of Bath RGC, having been a gymnast since age 5. Sarah coached the history making Team GB Rhythmic Group in Olympic Games, London 2012. Having coached Bath gymnasts to European, & World championships, she also coached two medallists at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi 2010, where she also coached for team England. Sarah has represented GBR all over the world. She now educates teachers in Gymnastics and PE.

Coach
Charlotte was a gymnast for 7 years before gaining her coaching qualification. Having moved to Bath recently for university she is excited to be coaching at our club.
Simon Haffenden
Coach
Simon is a Regional Judge and a Level 1 coach.
After getting involved via his daughter (Amelia) Simon found that he was interested in the sport and supporting the club via the committee.
Realising there is a shortage of judges, he started his Judging career. Simon is now a qualified Regional Judge (3rd level), and judges at National Competitions.Last year Simon wanted to improve his knowledge and skills,so undertook the Level 1 coaching course, and is now qualified.
Simon has fantastic knowledge of the Code of Points and how to improve the scores for the gymnasts.

We have a wonderful team of experienced coaches to work with and develop our gymnasts across all aspects of rhythmic gymnastics.
The club allocates a coach to each session. Please note that occasionally due to illness or competitions, another coach will cover the session.
It is also the case that we may swap coaches for a session, to enable a expert to work on a specific skill with the gymnasts.
