Four teams and four individuals from City of Bath Rhythmic Gymnastics Club competed this weekend at one of the UK’s largest National competitions, against over 400 gymnasts and 69 groups.
The Bath Senior Group gained silver medal, potentially qualifying for the British Championships with a rope and ball performance by Tiola, Selina, Lola, Evie and recreational coach Sarah Dennis.
Kashvi, Elisabeth, Elle, Elena and Rosie from the White Juniors delivered an accomplished clubs routine against 22 other groups. Winning fourth position and placing themselves into a qualifying position for the British Championships in June once again.
An exhilarating ribbon routine gained Elena the bronzewith Rosie qualifying with a solid sixth place in clubs. Senior individual Sophie took fifth place with a dynamic ribbon routine.
The largest category was Espoirs with 38 groups aged between 8 and 12 taking part from Gibraltar to Northern Ireland.
Competing for the first time at the National Group Seeding was Eva, Emily, Lilly, Beatrice and Hannah of the Espoir Red Group. They performed a simply beautiful and uplifting ball routine, putting the girls in a fantastic position for the next round of competitions.
Junior Orange Group Vanessa, Lola, Vlada, Rosa and Frances performed their best routine to date with a passionate clubs routine.
We await the qualification results to see who will qualify for British Championships, National League and Zonal Level.
