The 2019 English Rhythmic Championships for individuals (Level 5) and groups (Levels 4 and 5) was held on 1st and 2nd June at the Sports Training Village at the University.
On day one, Senior Gold were Bronze medallists in the All-Around Competition and Senior Blue placed 5th in their first English Championships.
Junior Performance (competing for the first time after injury) placed 6th, whilst Elena Gill - the only Junior competing in both group and individual - did incredibly well to qualify for the individual ribbon final.
Day 2 Finals brought more success as Senior Gold were the winners in the 4 clubs, 3 hoops apparatus contest and Junior Performance achieved Silver with their Mary Poppins ribbon routine.
This is the second year that the competition has been held at our excellent venue in Bath, with 190 gymnasts taking part.
